Bettle Wells, representing the publicity department of the Harriman Hoes, - spoke in Duncan's hall, when he outlined some new poli cies of the departm ent in inaugu rating a mammoth scheme for advertising the different sections of Oregon, and especially dwelt on an effort that is being mads to publish to the w orld the ad vantages offered to homeseekers in Yamhill county The proposition w as heartily endorsed by the audience and that Newberg is to co-operate in the scheme goes w ithout say ing. The proposition is a godd one, the details o f which will not be outlined here as it has been decided to hold a big booster** meeting on Tuesday afternoon of next week when it will all be gone over again. , Good speakers will be present, the band will be out and the business houses will be closed daring the afternoon while evqry body will tarn oa t and help make this the greatest publicity meeting ever held in the valley.
