commissioners left Washington this
afternoon without any ceremonies.
The commissioners were accompanied
by a considerable staff of attaches, and
Savoy, tho faithful and trusted mes­

secretaries of state for many years, and
who in Paris will still bo on guard at
the doors of the rooms which the com­
missioners will take up as their head­
quarters. Before leaving the state de­
