In the matter of cartoon hits on the hold-up at Salem, the Statesman has been laying the Oregonian in the shade. H on. Thomas Paulson of Washington county is a candidate for the office of Food and Dairy Commissioner. Mr. Paulson is well qualified for this posi tion and the Graphic hopes to hear of his appointment to this position. The possible election of Hon. J. H.
