Coquille 7 M yrtle Point 1 Coquille Herald. for Myrtle Point, and proved hira- self to be a coming man. Lorenz acted as the man behind the stick for Coquille, while Folsom held down the same position for Myrtle Point. The fielding and base playing were fairly good. There was only one cleau two bagger made during the game and that was by Gardiner for Coquille. Coquille with its imported men has a strong team, but the show, ing of Myrtle Point’s home talent was more than pleasing to the local fans. Both sides played fast, snappy ball, and the large crowd in attendance departed, all seeming ly satisfied that they had witnessed this, the first game of the season.
