Herman, Erickson, 22 years of age, was drowned in Coos River just below the Coos Bay Creamery at 7:30 Saturday evening. Felter, who has been en gineer for Nicolai Bros.’ sash and door factory for the past sixteen years, arrived in Bandon recently and has bought a 40 acre tract of land five miles down the coast sod will go into the fruit business. He is a brother of J. W. Felter, the contractor and builder of this city. Mrs. R. E. Buck of this city has a relic in the shape of a bouquet that perhaps no other person in the state of Oregon can boast of. The bouquet was picked from Lincoln’s grave at Springfield, 111. Mrs. Buck has this bouquet with a number of otbet relics she has received from various parts of the country.
