Yellow Jackets Bad Pests.

raspberries in a ravenous way and
then as the numbers increased,
they began devouring blackberries.
Now they are working on apples and
plums. One man said he counted
nine yellow jackets qq a single plum

numerous in some seasons than in
others. Then they disappear just
as the worm pests do and reappear
after a few seasons. It has keen
suggested by some that the absence
of flowers during dry season com
pels tbe yellow jackets to seek their
materials tor food supply in fruit.
