act for the sale of timber lands in the
States of California, Cregon, Nevada,
and Washington T erritory,” as extend­
ed to all the Public Land States by act
of August 4, 1892, George W . King, of
Montague, county of Siskiyou, State of
California, has this day filed in this of­
fice his sworn statement No. 6996, for
the purchase of Lots 4 and 5 of Section
No. 6 in Township No. 28 8, Range No.

the land sought is more valuable for its
timber or stone than for agricultural
