The figures o f the association fu r ther show th at the average price re- fo r cheese F . O. B. M yrtle Poin t was n trifle better than twenty tw o and tw o tenths cents per pound the entire yield. F igu rin g the high rate o f fre ig h t charged betwi local points and the main markets, the association has certainly made s vary creditable showing fo r its first year. The fu rther facts that the first attem pt to standarise the out put o f the tw o counties was made this year under the inspection service o f the association and that our in spected cheese must make its arm name on the m arkets o f the coast be considered in connection w ith these figures and than it must be conceded this has bean a great year fo r the chases industry o f these coun ties and that greater years are to come as our product becomes better standardised and advertised. Sever al com peting cream eries and cheese factories are fluring upon entering the association this year and thereby standardise their output which w ill grea tly im prove conditions as the fact that uninspected cheese has been go in g into the m arkets from this local ity naturally damages the entire out put o f tbs tw o counties. M r. G iles fru th er says that a stand ard brand w ill be placed upon all o f cheese handled by the Asso ciation in addition to the Factory brand, aa this has been suggested by many o f the main buyers o f the coast prom ise to help advertise the C o m and Curry Cheeae.
