Loggers Announce Iwo Team Changes Two changes w ere announced last week in the Coquille Loggers' line-up as one player left and a new m an arrived. Leaving th e Loggers is Alex Palica, pitcher. He left S aturday and retu rn ed to his hom e n ear Los Angeles. This w as his first season I with th e team here. H e had had ' a great deal of tro u b le w ith his arm during th e sum m er. A rriving last F riday was Don ■Mallott, shortstop and relief p itch - ’ | er. from Los Angeles. He played I last year w ith Seattle and this year has been w ith team s in In dianapolis and Tulsa. M allott played w ith Dave Doug lass and Bill Pilgrim in Los A n geles on the Vernon Ju n io r Legion team which played in the L ittle World Series. The n ex t home league gam e for [ the Loggers will be Ju ly 23 w hen they m eet Roseburg.
