COQUILLE VALLEY SENTINEL Thursday, May 21, 1953 Lincoln School New s rich's second grade carried out th e | them e of May Day in th e anim al world. Folk dances by Mrs. Viola F a ir bank’s second grade and the th ird and fou rth grades of Mrs. Cora M ackey and Mrs. E lthia H arrah, respectively, added a lively touch to th e festivities. A lively tune, "T he Hiking Song,” by th e fo u rth grade of Mrs. Levinia P e a rt’s and th ree cute num bers including "Y ankee Dood le" and "Oh, W here Has My L ittle Dog G one” by Mrs. V erna C ain’s first g rad ers w as enjoyed by the audience.
