Coquille came right back with three. Chuck Humble and Ament singled and moved up on a sacri fice laid down by Dave Douglas Don Hinchberger dropped a one- bagger Into left, scoring Humble and Ament came In on an error. Another single, by Jim Newton, plated Hinchberger. The Globetrotter* made it 3-2 in the second on two walks, a sacrifice and an infield out They chased Ellis In the fifth. Walks and one- base hits by Dav enport and Jim Wheeler accoun ted for two runs to put the in vader* in the lead. Bilbrey was called in to quell the uprising. Coquille kndtted it in the sixth when Ament singled, went to second on a sacrifice and scored no a double Into right by Lee Wert. Singles by Roy Harrington and Bilbrey were the big factors as the Loggers moved ahead 5-4 in the seventh. The colored crew made one lest bid in the ninth and manged to push across the tying run, but some a-lert play by Wert and H ar rington defensively broke off the rally. Ament with 3 for 4 was the game’s hitting star. Hinchberger collected 2 for 4 while Davenport was the only Trotter able to get more than one safety.
