AGE FOUR e Consolidation Vote Set For March 20 S e n tin e l COQUILLE. OREGON. Make Your Home A consolidation w ill be voted in the M yrtle Point area on Thurs day, March 20. This vote w ill be taken for high school purposes only and w ill include the districts as fo l lows: Sitkum, Dora, McKinley, and what was before the consolidation w ith Gravelford, known as Pleas ant H ill. In each case the vote w ill be taken in the schoolhouse located in the district and in all cases ex cept the Union High school, w ill be held at 8:00 p. m. However, the voters in the Union High school district w ill ballot between 2:00 and 8:00 p. m. The old Pleasant H ill school which has not been used for the housing of school children since 1939-40 w ill, in spite of the delapi- dated condition of the building, be used as the voting place for the voters of former D istrict 74, Pleas ant H ill. Anyone desiring a description of the property involved in old 74 may secure same through Martha M. Purdy, county school superin tendent. • • MARCH IS. 1S3S. Hollenbeak Captures Audience In Lead Role of 'Heaven Can Wait,' Jr. Class Play Jim Hollenbeak, Coquille high school junior, played his way into the hearts of a capacity audience W ednesday night in the lead role of "Heaven Can W ait,” a sparkling comedy th a t is the junior class play. Hollenbeak availed himself of all the qualities of the theatre as he played the role of Jo Pendleton, fighter who had been snatched into heaven too soon only to find that his body had been cremated before the mistake could be remedied. The play produced a laugh in every line as the in visib ility of the heavenly people to people of the earth brought confusion and accu sations of insanity to Pendleton played by Hollenbeak who was the sole person to hear and see M r. Jordan, portrayed excellently by John Clayton, and the heavenly messenger who had made the mis take played by Sally Jeffrey.
