I i you could have visited the Better Dress Workshops, conduc ted by Misses Lucy Lan and Re becca Johnston this last week you would agree that those ladies who participated are going to be the best-dressed ladies in Coos county. One of the big advantages o f the Work-Shop creations which can not be measured in dollars and cents is that the pattern was al tered so that the garment is a tailored-to-fit one. However, the estimated hard-cash savings these gals have made in constructing their own dresses is tru ly amaz ing. Some unit members fe lt they saved half the price of a store- bought gown. And, by the way, these estimates were actually based on a ready-to-wear garment from a local store. Does home sewing pay? Well, ask any proud wearer of a Work- Shop garment. A ll honors go to the ladies who served as Project Leaders in their own units. They have given two days each week to the Better Dress Workshop. They rig htly deserve a place of honor. Would you like to know who they are? O K here goes. Mrs. Niel Harding, Mrs. Doro thy Wallace, Mrs. Kenneth Schnick, Mrs. Gladys Schnick, Mrs. Ida M.
