Santa Claus Letters Express Many Desires
Ernie Kuntz was busy this week
pondering the desires of small Co
quille youngsters who have left
their Santa Claus letters at his
store for reply from Santa Claus
who appears every Saturday at the
local Penney store.
One wanted “Just a nice large
candy cane, dear Santa.”
Another wrote: “I want a Toni
doll, I want a hat. I want a ball,
and I want a play cat to pUy
with.”
\
A little boy wanted “a China
lamp for his mother who always
wanted one, but never has got one,
and a book or two for himself.
And, oh yes, we would like a rec
ord player like they have at John
ny’s Music store.”
A wee tot also wanted “Jesus to
