M r. and Mrs. Jack Arnold of Chula Vista Calif, were vistors dur ing the week at the Bob Britton home in Stanleyville. A daughter was born Sept. 11th to M r. and Mrs. Kay Curtis at the Mast Hospital in M yrtle Point. Community Ladies Aid met at the home of Mrs. C arl Briggs Sep t. 13th. it was de- cided to have a Food Sale Sept 20th. Mrs. Crystal Barton, grand rep resentative of the Province of Quebec, Canada, was also present and was introduced and presented w ith a corsage. Mrs. Barton gave a very interesting re p o rt.o f her correspondence w ith members of the Order in Quebec. Mrs. Electa Easley ' and Mrs. Ara Sheedy were hostesses for the evening and the tables were beau tifu l w ith flowers and tiny can dles at each plate and birthday cards and streamers of Star col ors, honoring all birthdays from January to September.
