Coos Bay Man
Buys Cope Jersey
Rodney Poet, Coos Bay, Oregon,
has purchased the registered Jer
sey, Eagle Boy Raisy. The ani
mal comes from the herd owned
by Ralph E. Cope, Jr., Langlois,
Oregon.
The purchase adds to the steadily
growing number in this area.
Dairymen buy Jerseys because of
the high quality of the milk they
produce.
Purebred Jerseys are registered
by The American Jersey Cattle
Club which has its national head
quarters in Columbus, Ohio. Sev
eral programs are now available
through The American Jersey
Cattle Club to help breeders get
the most profits from their Jer
seys.
