(Coquille Sudio) Belfast, Ireland, Church Scene of Wedding of Coquille Man to Irish Lass A marriage of interest to resi dents of Coos county was solem nized at St. Mary’s church, Crum- lin Road, Belfast, North Ireland, when Miss Thomasena Young, daughter of Mrs. Annie Young, 60 Tobergill street, Belfast, be came the bride of Benham Sell, sdn of Mrs. Belle Darling of Co quille and Louis Sell, Sr., of Ban don. Rev. A. J. Douglas offici ated. The bride, gowned in white ;atin, carried a bouquet of red carnations. Mrs. Ellen Morrison, sister of the bride, who acted as matron of honor, chose a gown of blue taffeta, and carried a bou quet of pink carnations. The train-bearer was Isobel Baxter, while David Young, brother of the bride was best man. A reception, held at Tennent Street Union Hall, followed the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. S e ll. spent their honeymoon in Dublin. For trav elling the bride wore a street dress of grey wool plaid with matching accessories. • • Supt. Shower Honors Popular Bride-Elect Miss Dorothy Nichelson, whose marrisqe to Dale Stevens takes place in Coquille on January 15, was honored at a pre-nuptial shower given on Monday evening it the home of Mrs. Frank Thrift. Mrs. Thrift and Mrs. Louis Holi- r“->n w ere co-hostesses for the af fair. The serving table was graced by a miniature bride and groom arranged in a setting of floating white chrysanthemums. White tapers, also embedded in white chrysanthemums completed the arrangement. Flowers arranged in silver slipper containers were used as centerpieces for the five smaller tables.
