Shower Honors Miss L itzen b erg er i Miss Phyllis Litzenberger, who is to be married August 24th, was surprised Friday night when she was the honor guest at a lovely miscellaneous shower held at the home of Mrs. Marshall Kennedy, with Mrs. L. B. Gould as co-hostess. The tables were attractively decorated with summer flowers and candles. Follow ing eight o’clock dessert, the lovely packages were opened and admired and an evening of bridge enjoyed. King and J. C. Ebel of Elmhurst, Long Island. They are cousins of Mrs. Klenz and the Oerding family. They took time out from their business of interior decorating in Long Island, to enjoy their first trip by auto to the west coast. They were so im pressed with the beautiful scenery and hospitality of the Oregon people that they became interested in the idea of moving to Oregon. While in Coquille, they looked over several properties for investment.
