Hazel Cornwall Becomes Bride of Edward Ertel Individual Tables Set For Lovely Early Summer Buffet Dinner a t the McClary's One of the outstanding social events of the early summer was the lovely buffet dinner Friday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. U. E. McClary. The guesta, seated at gayly dec- orated individual tables, did justice to the tempting viands, temptingly displayed. Following the delicious dinner, contract bridge was enjoyed. Mrs. Litzenberger won high score for ladies and Dr. Kennedy, for men. Mrs. Ajctell took second prize for ladies and Dave Rackleff, for the men. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Jim Moorehead, Dr. and Mrs. Marshall Kennedy, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lit- zenberger, Mr. and Mrs. George May- nard, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Boober, Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Mrs. Jane C roft Given Shower A t Newton Home Last Wednesday Evening Mrs. Jane Croft, daughter of Mr.r«^ and Mrs. Charles Oerdiug, was ten dered, a stork shower last Wednesday night at the home of Mrs Peggy New ton on Spurgeon Hill, with Mrs. Georgia Richmond, Mrs. Esta Ellis, Mrs. Dora Oerding and Mrs. Zoe Fu gelson as joint hostesses. After the opening of the many lovely gifts, dainty refreshments were served. Cecile Brunner roses fashioned the decorations. Present were Mesdames Alice Klenz, Vera Oerding, Helen Peterson, Londwy Peart, Anna Morrison, Esther Wilson, Clara Hultin, Luella Davis, Muriel Anderson, Viola Newton, Belle and a guest, Knife, Lavinia Peart, Vera McCurdy, Ruth Latimer, Clara Howe, Fern Pe terson, Lois Oerding, Mrs. Sparling, Mrs. L. E. Croft of North Bend, the honored guest, Mrs. Jane Croft and the hostesses. The veil, in fingertip length, fell frx n a coronet of seed pearls. She carried a nosegay of pink perfection roses with white ribbon streamers and pink rose buds. / . , Mrs. Janet Hervey was matron of honor. She wore a white net gown and carried a nosegay of pink and white roses. Bridesmaids were Mary May Miller and Grace Keck. Miss Miller wore a gown of white satin and turquoise net. Mrs. Keck’s gown was of white crepe. Both carried nosegays of red and white roses. Dottie Keck was flower girl, in a gown of white, with turquoise net. i tenon.
