Legion Slate formal Opening Of Club Room Saturday Night Legion To Play Host To Veterans At Club Opening oquille Valley Sen^iiej a XI AN The American Legion will open of ficially their new and modern club- rooma above the F. R. Bull office Saturday night, in what promises to be one of the most gala affairs in local post celebrations, W. J. B. Head, post commander, announced today. All servicemen veterans of Coos county have been invited, and are „ being invited, to attend the opening of the new clubrooms. Membership in the American Legion is not needed to be a guest, Commander Head an nounced, as the local post wants to have all servicemen pres-nt regard less of their membership.’ A special program is being plm r.td for the evening. ' i The club room was recently leased from the owners of the building and j remodeling work was started. It h ! now one of the most modern clubs io the state.
