Myers, with a pot luck dinner at noon. The ladies spent the day help ing Mrs. Myers quilt There was a short business meeting held in thè af ternoon. Wallen, of Myr tle Point, were Friday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Hamp ton. Mrs. C. A. Keltner, who has been visiting at the home of her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Keltner, at Oregon City, returned to her home last Saturday. Choir practice-was held Wednesday evening at the church at 7 p. m. Mrs. Eva Moran, who has been vis iting at the home of her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. I. B. Sevy, for a few days, returned to her home in Portland Friday morning. The Arago boys’ basketball team met the Bandon team on the Ban don floor Friday night for a very ex citing game, Arago being defeated the last few minutes by one basket, mak ing the score: Bandon 23 and Arago 21. The regular weekly Bible study was held Wednesday at the church, with J. D. Root loading the discussion on the ninth chapter of Luke. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Root and John Paul, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Munford and Leatha, Lynn Schrader, Mrs. O. H. Aasen, Mrs. Ward Evans, Mrs. I. B. Sevy, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Woodward, Mrs. Albert Lillie and Glenda, Mrs. Albert Gul strom and Darwin, Mr. and Mrs. S. C. McAllister. They will meet again next Wednesday evening at 8 p. m. Mrs. L. A.
