Mrs Phoebe Harry left Sunday to visit with her daughter, Myrtle Noah, who has been in the hospital in Coquille for several days recover ing from an operation. Mrs. Harry will also visit her daughter, Mrs Baker, at Empire, before returning home. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Rookard and Florence Alma visited relatives in Powers, Myrtle Point and Coquille from Wednesday until Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Wilson and Mrs. Ivan Laird went to Coquille Fri day to consult a physician about Mrs. Wilson’s health. She was found to be in a serious condition and will have to be quiet and observe a strict diet for some time. Mrs. Julius Ben ham accompanied them as far as Myrtle Point also to consult a physi cian. She also has serious trouble and will have to be under a physi- cian’s care for some time. .Rosalie Laird had the misfortune to fall and sprain her wrist last Wed nesday. It was very painful and handicapped her in her school work the rest of the week. Mrs. Manley ^Jdcobsen, of Synarep, Wash., arrived Monday to visit at Orin Kirk’s for a time. < Mr. and Mrs. Albert Christensen. Christinia aqd Donald, were business callers in Marshfield Friday.
