Miss Gilds Dietz entertained a number of her friends at a lawn party Thursday evening. The evening was spent in games and dancing on the tennis court. At a late hour refresh ments were served. The Myrtle Point Garden Club will hold its annual flower show Saturday at which time all persons interested in flowers are urged to bring their dis plays between the hours of 8:00 and 11:00 a. m. Exhibitors must furnish their own containers. A committee has been appointed to look after con tainers which exhibitors are unable to call for at the close of the show, which is usually at nine p. m. Mm. M. V. Moller and Mias Elsie Moller returned home the last of the week from a trip to Portland. Miaees Elva and Geraldine McGraw left Thursday morning for their home in Oakland, Calif, after a few days’ visit at the home of their cousin, Mm. T. D. Guerin. They also visited their two sisters, Mm. Harry Nasburg and Miss Edna McGraw, of Marshfield. Mm. Joseph Supple returned to her home in Portland after a short visit at the home of her cousin, Mm. Geo. Goldie Edwards and three children left Friday for their home in Medford after a visit with relatives in this section. Ben Burgess this week purchased the home of Henry Huntley and will move his family there in September. Mr. and Mrs. Huntley have not yet decided where they will locate.
