The first meeting of the committee
for the annual flower show was held
Tuesday day at the homo of Mrs. Z.
C. Strang. All members but one
were present and plana talked over.
Committee chairmen for the various
committees were appointed and, in
fact, the whole thing was discussed.
No date has been set yet as it was
deemed a little early on account of
the backwardness of the season.
It is going to be necessary for all
members of the committee to attend
every meeting so that they will not
only know their own duties but will
be able to advertise the show intelli­
gently. We went to make this com­
ing show the beet one yet and to do
that we must have one hundred per­
cent co-operation. Every one in the
club must do their pert aa well and
not leave it all for just a few. Bring
your ideas for the show to the club, or
better yet, come to the committee
meetings. The next meting will be
held at Mr. Jgylor’s home at 7 JO p.
m.. May 24th. All committee mem­
bers remember the date and don’t
fail to come.

has two children. He is a graduate
of Oregon State Normal, Oregon
State College, and received his Mas­
ter’s degree after past graduate study.
He holds life certificates in Oregon
for both grade end high school teach­
ing, and has had ten years total ax-
