Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Barker, Mrs. Ora Laird and Majorie Haaelton re turned Sunday evening from Corval lis, where they went to attend the football game Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Cooper are the proud parents of a baby boy bora Wednesday morning, NovenAer Sth. Thia is their second child. Miss Isora Gregary and Miso Marjorie Grant, of MarAAeld, epent the week end with their friend, Miss Linn, at the Tom Sumerlin home. Miss 8ich and Miss AWerdea went to Corvallis Friday and attended the football game Saturday. The Emery Eggers family moved to Powers last week where Mrs. Eg gers has employment. Dave Carey, of Powers, is visiting his daughters, Mrs. Charles Bellshaw and Mrs. W. B. Northup, this week. Mrs. Murphy and daughter, Mrs. Pancoot, were Myrtle Point visitors Monday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schroeder and eon, Elton, spent the week end in Cbr- vallis and attended the football game. The first Junior High basket ball game will be played Friday evening in the Junior High school auditorium with the Powers team and on Satur day evening the Myrtle Point team will play the Coquille team at Co quille. E. A. Dodge spent the week end at the home of his eon, Austin, In Cor vallis. A. Baker returned the first of the week from Salem, where ho visited his son, Non Baker, and family. Merle Kenyon, W. B.
