The case of F. J. Fish vs. A. O.
Walker was decided by Judge Brand
last Saturday when he allowed the
plaintiff one-fourth of the net profits
on the sale of the timber land in ques
tion. It was figured at $2460.90.
Deputy Game Warden C. A. Hear
ing started for Roseburg yesterday
but up on the Middle Fork he found
two young fellows fishing who had no
license. He brought them here where
Justice Stanley fined them $25 apiece
and costa. Their names were A.
Lange and J. Lange of Camas Valley.
Pretty expensive fishing for so poor
a stream as the Middle Fork has been
since the logging operations and
splash dams have been' in' use.
