Patterson, has his campaign head­
quarters at Oregon City, where he was
manager of the Oregon City Enter­
prise for seven yearn prior to nerving
in an official capacity for the state. -

ation, Mr. Hoss made the following
pledge:

during my term' of office give to the
people of the state of Oregon an ef­
ficient and economical administration
of their affairs,'so far as they would
come under my jurisdiction. I would

natural resources and local manufac­
