THE COQUILLE TALLEY Chester Wolcott and family were among those who m et with auto ac cidents Sunday while on outing«. Mr. Wolcott's car, an open on«, rolled off the highway and pinned Mr. Wolcott beneath it, while the bat tery leaked acid upon his rinthiny and body. A large amount trickled over his face as well. Mr. Walcott when the auto brought up about two lengths below the high way, was pi need underneath the ma chine and his sp a s ware in a mass of poison oak, and the burning acid was flowig over him. Mr. W olcott was driving in a nar row portion o f the road, and watching ahead to see if he was likely to meet other cars. His car ran eloee to the embankment and stuck in taro small washouts at the edge. The machine, on sticking in the low place, then toppled into the gulch beside the rood. The entire top wss torn eff and there wasn't anything left to the top or windshield. Mr. W o lc o tt received one or two braisas, bat Mrs. W olcott end the daughter escaped without any hurta.—News.
