TOUR ART SHOWS AT ART CENTER EAST LA GRANDE — Art Center East (ACE), 1006 Penn Ave., currently has two art shows on display. The Sue Orlaske Retrospective, an ex- hibit to honor the late artist Sue Orlaske, is featured in ACE’s Orlaske Gallery. Tideline to Alpine, an exhibit showcasing the work of Wallowa County artist Nicole Freshley, is in ACE’s Main Gallery. These two shows will be on display through Sept. 3. AC/DC TRIBUTE BAND COMING TO BAKER CITY MIRASOL CLINIC HOSTS HEALTH FAIR BAKER CITY — The AC/DC tribute band “Back into Black” — with special guest Jetta-Tar tribute to Joan Jett and Pat Benatar — will play live at The Ison House Bed and Brew, 1790 Washington Ave., on Saturday, July 23. Gates open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $20 for ages 13 and older. Beverages and food will be available to purchase. Buy tickets at theisonhouse.com. Looking ahead, U2 tribute band TRIBU2 will play Saturday, July 30. Local band Trailer Hitch opens at 6 p.m., with TRIBU2 taking the stage at 7:30 p.m. Gates open at 5 p.m. Tickets are $20 for HERMISTON — Pony rides, face paint- ing, a photo booth, food, prize giveaways and raffl es are all featured during Mirasol Family Health Center’s health fair. The free event is Saturday, July 23, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 589 N.W. 11th St. There is no admission charge. The health fair also features medical screenings, immunizations and nutrition information. JULY 2027, 2022 RACING ACTION RETURNS TO HERMISTON HERMISTON — Coca Cola Saturday Night Thunder heats up at Hermiston Race- way on July 23 — the gates open at 4 p.m. and the racing starts at 6 p.m. at 81236 N. Highway 395. The evening features WESCO Winged Sprint Cars, the Washington Midget Racing Association, INEX Legends, hornets and bombers. General admission for adults is $20; seniors/veterans are $17; youths, $15 and a family pass is $50 (for two adults and three youths).
