on Friday, Dec. 3, in downtown
Baker City.
CROSSROADS CARNEGIE
ART CENTER
2020 Auburn Ave.
The annual “Gift of Art” open
Christmas show begins with a
reception on First Friday from
5:30-8 p.m. The focus of this ex-
hibit is to offer a way to support
local artists while shopping for
holiday gifts.
“We will have fine arts,
ceramics, jewelry, textiles, and
many other mediums, so there
will surely be something special
for everyone to find for them-
selves, or someone they love,”
said Alyson Spiering, commu-
nity art director.
Crossroads also has the
Ornament Expo going through
Dec. 24.
“Be sure to go on a trea-
sure hunt through our 12-foot
Christmas tree and the dance
studio mirror to find yourself a
locally made Christmas orna-
ment,” Spiering said.
There is still time to enter
items in these two shows.
Those interested in entering
ornament art or gift pieces
for The Gift of Art show can
stop by Crossroads (10 a.m.-
5 p.m. Monday-Saturday), or

center will accept entries until
Dec. 24.
