In her complaint she says that while she and her sister. Miss Min nie Buxton, were driving along main street, a culvert gave way beneath their horse, and they were thrown violently over the dashboard and into the street. She aski for $100 for injuries received bv herself and siBter and 50 damages done to the rig. Lowell Markee came near having a serious accident a few day ago. He had been taking honey out of a case and still bad the knife in his hand. In lift ing the box hi band slipped and the nife struck his forehead just above the lght eye making a cut about an inch in length. The new street car company of Forest Grove and the Hughes telephone com pany, met with considerable doss and were put out of business (or a time I riday night; all of which was caused by the telephone line getting crossed with tho electric wire of the street car line. The damage Is estimated at $500. Gustaf Freudenthal died in Los An geles, Cal., last Friday and the remains were brought here for burial.
