Lthale, of Gaston, ba has received the sad news of the death of bis mother, Mrs. Marcel le Lahaie, who died, a' ed 73 years and d months, of pueumonla, after a short illness, Dec. 23, at Ironwood, Mich., where she had been visiting with several of her children who live In that vicinity, and In the Catholic cemetery there she was buried. Since ISOd she had been a resident of Buckingham, Province of (2 aebec, and there In 1891, her husband, Jeremle Lahaie, dhd. They had ten children and of ber family sur vive her seven sons and one daugh ter, 64 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Those of tbe family who attended tbe funeral were Mr. F P.
