Mrs. Elliott show a specimen of

farm near SchoU's where they have

though, and here, too, unless dusted

Little Miss Helen dales had an ex

Jas. W. Welch, of Astoria, Grand
Master, I. O. O. F., of Oregon, paid
an official visit to Montezuma lalge
on Wednesday evening last, tie
was accompanied by E. E. Sharrou,
Grand Secretary of the order. The
visitors had a conference with the
lodge, after which the ladies of the
Hebekah Lodge were iuviled Into
the lodge room. After a uncial vis t
of an hour, the lialges went to Gales'
where lunch was served. While the
parlors were somewhat crowded, the
entertainment was faultless in other
respects. The visit of Grand Master
Welch appears to be highly appreci
ated by the fraternity, and ou the

heartily commended. Of course, we,

hear them, and therefore cannot
testify.
Rev. Elkanah Walker, misj-ionary

Walker, of Forest drove, is stationed
at Foo-Chow, a large seaport town in
the Southern province of Fo-Kien.
The Boxer disturbances have not ex
