In this collection were blooms from her verv flue colored climbing rose that is now fifteen ft-et high. Mrs. Cave's bunch of Marcchal Ned rosea had maiiv admirers. Mrs. H. V. Gates had a large and choice collection that would lie noticed lu any display. Mrs. T. II. Tongue sent from her garden many choice blooms. Mrs. Iti-dniond was also a large exhibitor. The single bunch of rosea that at tracted most attention win a nosegay cut from an Mission rose tree, the property of Mrs. F. A. iiailey. This rose was pre nted to Mrs. Mary Chamliers. The parade was led by (lie Forest Grove band, who did themselves credit by the choice music rendered a band that Washington county can well feel proud of as musicians. Ihe parade held at forest Orove shows that while horse owners failed of their patronage to some extent, the people of that community art fully alive to every interest of the county, and are perfectly willing to aid every material interest ot the whole county, ami a rousing stork show could be held thcro in the future.
