CHEESECAKE P IE 6-8 Servings 325* preheated oven, 60 minutes 9-lnch pie plate H 6-oz. package zwieback 2 tablespoons sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon 2 tablespoons melted butter 2 cups creamed cottage cheese, sieved 2 eggs % cup sugar H cup heavy cream Few grains salt 2 tablespoons flour 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind 1 tablespoon lemon Juice 2 cupe canned apple sauce 2 teaspoons grated lemon rind 2 tablespoons lemon Juice K cup chopped almonds Whole salted almonds Roll zwieback Into fine crumbs with rolling pin. Combine crumb«, 2 tablespoons sugar, cinnamon and melted butter. Mix well. Pack crumb mixture into 9* pi« plate. To cottage cheese add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Add H cup sugar, cream, salt, flour, 1 teaspoon lemon rind and 1 tablespoon Juice. Beat until smooth. Pour Into crumb lined pan. Bake in 825* preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until firm. Cool. Combine apple sauce, 8 teaspoon* grated Umon rind, 2 tablespoons lemon Juice and chopped almonds. Spread on top of cheese filling.
