Bushnell, gave a musical program in the high sihoo’ auditorium Tuesday evening, which was highly appreciated by the larg audience. The program was ren dered in three parts, part one being given the beginners’ orchestra, part two the high school orchestra, and part three, the grand finale, con sisting of the 25-piece high school bund. The members of the organizations ns a whole acquitted themselves most creditably and each showed consci entious adherence to the instructions of their teacher. The selections by the brass quar tet consisting of Merlin Bullard, and David Eshleman, cornets, Max Git- gan, alto and Gilbert Giigun, bass, w - 'S especially good, us was also th Roy line s. Merlin Bullard, Fred Bi. e.i and David Eshleman. New faces from the grade school were observed in the band, which, Mr. Bushnell announced, had been organized only about two months. JACOBSEN, 67 DIES FROM STROKE Mrs. Elva Jacobsen, 67, who re sided about four miles southwest of Estacada, died front the effects of a stroke, Monday night.
