Ina Chapman, of Portland. He was the Cather of El- mer and Emery Powers of Viola and ste p father to t hree daughters and one so n. There are 26 grandchildren also .• He was a good father and a goo d neighbor and will be missed by his many fri ends. Mr. Northrup is still in Tacoma taking treatments but is not improving in health. Mrs. Knox is staying here with Mrs. North- rup, who wants to join Mr. Northrup nt Tacoma.
