ON BALLOT X 65 | |= The boys’ banquet Thursday night was the first o f the kind ever held in the county. Sandy boys’ cooking class is “ classy,” and Sandy may yet be famous for producing ten cele brated chefs, for the class surely ba the “ makins.” Forty covers were placed at the banquet tables. Said tables were dainty with linen, pink candles, and pink rose leaf favors made by the boys, and clever place cards made by Jay Foust, made the tables lovely. The boys were hosts for their guests, but the girls’ cook ing class served beautifully and ui-o helped with the table arrangements. But the dinner cooked by the boys, supervised by Miss Kammerer, was simply great. The class is composed of Clarence Eri, Ellsworth Bell, Eugene Tawney, Ervin Finger, Howard House, Victor Bacon, Jay Foust, John Hempe, Mar vin Lund and Edward Nelson.
