Julius Paulsen made a trip to Port land last week to visit his mother! who was quite ill but at last reports 1 is much better. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Maxwell arc spending a few days on their ranch and visiting with the home folks. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Decker were out from St. Johns Sunday visiting friends here and in Garfield. Frank Howard, Mrs. R. S. Chaney | and Dorothy Dew were Grange visit- j ors at Eagie Creek Jan. 22. The Weiderhold brothers are saw-j ing a carload of lumber to be shipped soon. Charles Matthew is out from Port- j land on his ranch.
