A movement to have the eighteen Jens Pedersen Passes It was with deepest regret that the people of Eastern Clackamas county learned of the passing of F. I. Fuller, vice-president of that company. He was a man truly great in the measure of a life time devoted to great accomplishments. His office doors were always open to us all. The business of the Portland Electric Power company in our com munity was very closely associ ated with our own business. Its rails and wires spread over our dis tric t It might Well be said that we all participate in the prosperity of that company. We have an interest in company affairs and therefore we might be pardoned for making a suggestion to the powers that be. The people of eastern Clackamas county—almost to a man— person ally know George J. Kelly, “our George,'' so to speak. You might say he grew up with our town, for some of us have known him and done business with him for 22years and based upon this experience we believe in him. We know that he has at heart the welfare of Eastern Clackamas county, especially so that part of it that embraces our immediate com munity. We would like to make this sug gestion to the Portland Electric Power company, as one friend might suggest to another, in the spirit of mutual interest :That the greatP. E. P. company place friend George in that position of honor and trust that is vacated by the passing of Mr. Fuller. If so, we may rest assured that the interest of Eastern Clackamas county, our interest, as far as that great corporation is concerned, will be faithfully and honestly taken care of.— Endorsed by the business men of Eastern Clackamas county.
