The deceased was stricken Saturday evening in Port land, where ho had gone on business, and never regained consciousness. Mr. Stewart had been manager o f The Eastern Clackamas News since last October, and prior to that time had been employed for several years by Upton H. Gibbs, form er owner o f The News.
