Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wismer o f Hillsboro were Saturday and Sun- day visitors o f Mr. and Mrs. Wil liam held Mr. Chaney and Julius Paulser have been working on Mr. Math- ew’s barn for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schmidt har’ as guests on Decoration Day, Mrs Scheet and daughter Edith and Walter Scheel and Mr. and Mrs Edward Schell and children of Portland. John Willing brought his B o n . George Willing back to the coun ty last Sunday to the home o f Mr and Mrs. Julius Paulsen after a two week’s stay in Portland. Gospel meetings were held in the church every night last week and and will ho held every other night this week. They were conducted by Rev. Rreece and fairly good at tendance was reported. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Honeger and children and Mrs. H. Paulsen o f Portland were visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Paulsen, Saturday and Sunday. Mr. Watson and sons,» Walter and Clayton o f Portland were guests at the J. Paulsen home. The Christian Endeavor will meet at Joe Rickev’s for the next meeting.
