surprised last Monday night by a

rinsville, to wish them success and
happiness in their future life.
The popular couple were married
January 16th, at the home o f the
Rev. Henry Speis in Gladstone, and
since that time have been honey-
mooning in the eastern part o f the
state. They returned to Currins-
ville last Sunday evening and have
been at the Harlen home since that

will lead the Christian Church in
a meeting o f several weeks dura­
tion. Mr. Ware spent the last four
years in this kind o f work in North
Dakota. He is an attractive speaker,
holding his audiences from the be­
ginning to the close o f his meetings.

Twenty-eight sat down to the ar­
tistically decorated table and en­
joyed the delightful luncheon served
by the ladies. Valentine favors and
decorations made an unusually at­
tractive setting for this occasion.
Mrs. S. Lawrence was the chair­
man in charge o f arrangements.
Many plans for the coming year
were discussed and it is understood
that the Legion has outlined plans
for an intense Americanization pro­
gram for the coming year.
They
decided to meet twice a month, on
the first and third Mondays, and
in this way hope to accomplish much
more than has heretofore been pos­
sible.
Three ladies were initiated into
the auxiliary at the meeting that
evening, being; Mesdames W. W.
Rhodes, DeShazer, and G. Law­
rence.
