M A Y 22,1024 BISSELL ITEMS Campfire Girls Last week the girls t f the Clackamas Campfire o f Estacada, under the guardianship o f Miss Garbe, climbed Larch mountain. They left here about 6 a. m. ar riving at Multnomah Falls at 8 a. m. They spent the remain der o f the day climbing as none had ever made the trip before. They returned Sunday evening about 6 o’ clock. All had a very enjoyable time The party con sisted of Miss Garbe, Florence June Reed, Alice Kaake, Irene Kaake, Helen Smith and Avis Cadonau. Later in the week a ceremonial was held. The girls to receive the rank of wood gath erers, were Irene Kaake, Flor ence Hassel and Avis Cadonau. Lucile Saunders was received as a new member. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Woodle were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Rickey on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. W. Held spent Sunday in Portland. A. Weiderhold o f Portland is making his home with his son George at present. Mr. and Mrs. H. Klinker were guests on Sunday o f Mr. and Mrs. Henry Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Will Miller and daughter Gladys, and Raymond Miller, all of Portland, were here on Sunday visiting with Mr. and Mrs Robert Miller and Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Miller.
