Ely were in Oregon City Monday, interviewing the tax commissioners about the city budget. Mr. and Mrs. B. 0. Boswell of Gresham, were in town Monday, The former says that he is feel ing fine after his operation, which removed an infected nerve from his face. Mrs. Bert Hall, secretary of the Woman’s Club at the county seat, and Mrs. F. L. Oswald of the same city, accompanied by Mrs. Ruth Huff Douglass of Port land, state health nurse, were in Estacada Monday arranging for a public meeting on Wednesday, December 5, notice of which is given elsewhere. The funeral of Fred Colclough, the man who was killed at the R. R. extension camp last week, was held here by the Salvation Army of Portland on Saturday, with interment in the I. 0. 0.
