Among the visitors were James Bell, Mrs. W. H. Wade and Ed. Chapman. The Grange is plan ning for the annual May picnic, which will occur on the 21st o f May. Everyone attending the picnic is promised a good time. The committee is expecting to secure a fine speaker for the oc casion. Besides the excellent' program which is being prepared there will probably be some side issues. There will be a dance at Cogs well’s hall in the evening. Everybody welcome. Guttridge attended the 40th wedding anni versery of Mrs. Guttridge’s par ents, Mr. and Mrs J. Zurcher, at Silverton last Sunday. Special meeting o f the Grange to be held Saturday to clean up the hall, top the trees and eu fire wood for the Grange. Gooc eats will be served at noon. He was a bach elor and leaves a brother, Chas. Lindgren. Eagle Creek Grange met as usual Saturday, with 33 patrons in attendance. There were about 50 present, including visitors and children.
