Palmatiers spent the week-end visiting at their daught e rs, Mrs. Lee Wills and Mrs. Geo. Carters near Portland. Mr. VV. P. Snuffin while grind ing some plowshares had the misfortune to get a piece o f steel in his eye, which was removed by Dr. McCall. L. J. Palmatier motored to Silverton Friday, to visit his brother Henry. Mrs. H. D. Trapp went with them as far as Woodburn to visit her mother, Mrs. D. M. Ratcliffe, all return ing Sunday.
