This condition is resulting in good angling at the lower falls, with som e handsome, clean, fresh, solid food- fish being obtained. Marshal John Page of Estacada displayed a fine fish on Monday night, which he claim s to have land ed and as a witness he refers to Justice of the Peace C. W. Devore, who has lately joined the ranks of the anglers. Owing to the continued shortage of help at the N e w s’ office, “ ye editor” has not been able to try his luck, which probably is fortunate for the fish, although by the time they get by the alluring baits o f fered by Henry Heiple and Lester Hale of Currinsville and som e of the Garfield enthusiasts, they are entitled to freedom and a com fort able spawning bed.
