Estacada Schools Opened Wednesday With a total enrollment on the opening day of 200 pupils, the Estacada schools began the 1916- 17 year, yesterday. The high school enrollment of 75 and the grammar school en rollment of 125, will be material ly increased within the next two or three weeks, as many pupils cannot begin at this time, owing to threshing and hop-picking. In order to lighten the work of the teacher at Currinsville, the eighth grade pupils, four in num ber, have entered the Estacada eighth grade class.
