Six thousand

A Storekeeper Says:
“ A lady came into my store lately and said:
“ ‘I have been using a New Perfection Oil Cook-Stove all winter
In my apartment. I want one now for my summer home. I think
these oil stoves are wonderful. If only women knew what a
comfort they are, they would all have
one. I spoke* about my stove to a lot
of my friends* and they were aston

smell and smoke from an oil stove* and
that it heated a room ju st like any other
stove. I told them of my experience*
and one after another they got one, and
now* not one of them would give her«
up for five tim es its c o st.'"
The lady who said this had thought
an oil stove was all right for quickly
heating milk for a baby* or boiling a
kettle of water, or to make coffee
quickly in the morning, but she never
dreamed of using it for difficult or
heavy cooking. Now—she knows.
Do you really appreciate w h at a New

P 'A S T O R IA has m et with pronounced favor on tho part of physicians, pharma-
^
ceutical societies and medical authorities. I t is used by physicians with
results most gratifying. The extended use of Castoria Í3 unquestionably tho
result of three facts: first—Tho indisputable evidenco th a t it is harmless:
Stcond T hat it not only allays stomach pains and quiets tho nerves, hut assimi
lates the food: Third—I t is an agreeable and perfect substitute for Castor Oil.
I t is absolutely safe. I t does not contain any Opium, Morphine, or other narcotio
and does not stupefy. I t is unlike Soothing Syrups, Bateman’s Drops, Godfrey’s
Cordial, etc. This is a good deal for a Medical Journal to say. Our duty, how-
evor, is to exposo danger and record tho means of advancing health. The day
for poisoning innocent children through greed or ignorance ought to end. To
our knowledge, Castoria is a remedy which produces composure and health, by
regulating the system—not by stupefying it—and our readers aro entitled to
the information.—H all's Journal o f H ealth.
